                 Truck drivers play a significant role in the economy of any country. The quality of truck drivers depends on the quality of training they receive which in turn determines the quality of service delivery to any economy. Unfortunately majority of Truck Drivers in Nigeria do not have a channel where they get trained formally before taking a career in the haulage sector. This results to the high level of illiteracy among truck drivers which has led to a lack of understanding of the terms of safety of the vehicle, the road and the drivers themselves.
